The Natural Park of Cervia

The Natural Park of Cervia established in 1963 extends for about 27 hectares of pine forest. It is a place of rare beauty with animal and plant species protected to be admired in respect of nature.
The botanical path accompanies to the discovery of various autochthonous species of the pinewood of Cervia, among which the most representative one is certainly the domestic pine with its characteristic umbrella foliage and the maritime pine with the foliage in a pyramidal shape. The undergrowth is rich of every kind of shrubs such as bramble, hawthorn, honeysuckle, daphne and while walking it is not rare to meet various species of orchids embellishing the surrounding green.

The Natural Park of Cervia is populated by many species of animals that here find a favourable environment for their natural restocking. You can admire guinea fowl, turkeys, chickens, peacocks, pheasants, rabbits, goats, horses, deer, and fallow deer. It will be exciting to pet them inside their pen in the farm.

The park offers many educational activities from the biological garden, to horse riding, together with a rich calendar of events from spring to autumn. Within the educational farm experienced staff assists children allowing them to interact with the animals in total safety.

You can spend hours of relaxation away from the chaos walking in the green, with a fun picnic on the lawn or sipping a drink at the bar.
